Where Metropolis Began.
In January 1927, Fritz Lang's Metropolis premiered in Berlin, shot at Babelsberg using visual effects nobody had built before. Ninety-nine years later, AI Filmhack happens on the same ground: the world's oldest large-scale film studio, founded in 1912, still the place filmmakers go looking for what's next.
This isn't AI replacing filmmaking. It's AI sitting next to it. For 48 hours, 100 creators pitch, direct and edit the way filmmakers always have, alongside tools that didn't exist two years ago. Old studio, new pipeline, same job: get a finished film in front of an audience. Metropolis took 17 months and a small army to put a vision of the future on screen. AI Filmhack does it with a laptop and a weekend.
